SKS World school 137 organized an educational tour for the students of Grade VI to VIII to the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) for an enlightening experience. The museum, renowned for its extensive collection of modern and contemporary Indian art, provided the perfect setting for the students to immerse themselves in the vibrant art scene of India. The students were fascinated by the innovative works of leading Indian artists. They observed the bold colors and unique techniques used in paintings and sculptures, which sparked interesting discussions among them. The visit to the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art was a memorable and enriching experience for the students.

Class 1 took center stage with a special assembly, presenting a captivating dance and skit performance that brought Krishna’s life to life. Other classes joined in the festivities, creating beautiful props and handmade cards that added to the celebratory atmosphere.

78th Independence Day

On 15th August, SKS World School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism. The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony. A special assembly was presented by the students, showcasing their talent and creativity. The highlight of the assembly was the soulful rendition of the song “Ekla Chalo Re” by the school choir, which filled the hearts of everyone present with pride and emotion. Class 3 C stole the show with their energetic and well-choreographed dance performance, which left the audience mesmerized. In addition to the assembly, a class activity was also conducted, where students made tricolor flags, cards, and posters, expressing their love and gratitude for the nation. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and a renewed sense of patriotism among the students and staff. It was a day filled with joy, pride, and a sense of responsibility towards our great nation.

Report on Health Checkup

On 27th June 2024, SKS World School, in collaboration with Felix Hospital, conducted a routine health and eye checkup for its teaching staff. This initiative is a testament to the school’s commitment to the well-being of its educators, recognizing their vital role in shaping young minds. The comprehensive checkup included a range of tests, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and lipid profile, among others. Additionally, a team of ophthalmologists from Felix Hospital conducted thorough eye exams, including visual acuity tests and retinoscopy. The event was a resounding success, with many teachers expressing gratitude for the opportunity to prioritize their health. Felix Hospital’s support was instrumental in making this event a success, demonstrating their dedication to community service and healthcare excellence. SKS World School prioritizes staff health and well-being through regular checkups, partnering with Felix Hospital for quality healthcare and specialized expertise. This collaboration demonstrates the school’s commitment to creating a supportive environment beyond academics, recognizing the importance of teacher well-being in fostering a healthy and productive learning community.

Report on CBSE workshop:

A CBSE workshop titled “BaL Vatika and Jadui Pitara” a capacity building programme was held at Delhi World Public School, Noida Extension, on June 25th, 2024. The event was attended by approximately 200 teachers and 75 principals from various schools, including Rachna Agrawal, the Principal of SKS World School, along with Shruti Sharma and Shweta Tiwari. The workshop aimed to enrich the knowledge and skills of educators, providing them with innovative ideas and strategies to enhance the teaching-learning process. The resource person, Ms.Yashika, delivered insightful sessions, engaging the participants in productive discussions and activities. The workshop proved to be a valuable platform for educators to share best practices, network, and gain valuable insights into effective teaching methodologies. Overall, the event was a resounding success, empowering teachers to create a more engaging and effective learning environment for their students.

SKS WORLD SCHOOL INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION

The halls of SKS World School were abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as students from numerous schools gathered to participate in an exhilarating interschool competition held on 4th November,2023. The event featured a wide array of competitions designed to challenge and inspire students of different age groups. From Classes Nursery to VIII, each class had the opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among participants. The event was a reminder that interschool competitions are not just about winning but also about personal growth and learning.

Induction Training Programme- GURU DAKSHITA

CBSE has conducted a two-day Induction Training (Guru Dakshta) programme at SKS World School on December 1st and 2nd, 2023. The programme aims to equip principals and teachers of newly affiliated schools and existing CBSE-affiliated schools with the necessary skills and resources for success in their roles. The training introduces teachers and school heads to the structure, policies, and guidelines of all CBSE departments and units, including Training, LOC, Examination, OASIS, Affiliation, Academics, Skill Education,IT, Professional Examination, CTET, NAS, and other CBSE portals. The initiative aims to enhance education excellence through capacity building in innovative teaching-learning processes and updating the knowledge and skills of school principals, teachers, and staff members who play an important role in equipping learners with 21st century learning skills, as highlighted in NEP 2020. The training programme undoubtedly had a positive impact on teachers and will contribute to the overall development of students and our education system. It was indeed a successful training programme initiated by CBSE and the school.
