Academics
The Academic Programme is tailored to evolve the intellectual stimulation and curiosity, rational thought and maturity of mind of the student. Students are also educated the value and importance of all subjects, and encouraged to pursue the subjects of their choice.
Co curricular
Co-curricular activities develop the temperatment of the child and bring out the creativity and talent along with the innate leadership and character development, with the idea of ‘EVERY CHILD has A PERSONALITY’. The students participate in a wide variety of competitions including Literary, cultural, artistic and others held regularly in the school.
Computer Education
Our school has a well set up computer department equipped with the best computers and computer peripherals to impart the Computer Education which has made rapid strides in our country. All students from Standard III onwards have computer education as an integral part of the curriculum. The department has a team of professionally qualified teaching staff and teachers so as to introduce computer-aided learning in all subjects.
Physical Education
Physical Culture at SKS World School prospers the spirit of sportsmanship, cooperation, team spirit and courage. The emphasis is on SPORTS FOR ALL with the slogan “DO YOUR BEST- WINNING IS NOT EVERYTHING.”
The school enables the students to pursue and establish their field in various sports like basketball, football, lawn tennis, athletics, table tennis and by a remarkable coaching in swimming, cricket, skating, karate and football.Every year, the school provides the students to showcase their talent by organizing an Annual Sports Meet.
The Arts
The performing and visual arts develop the aesthetic senses and appreciation of our national and world heritage. Painting and Art History, Dancing and Choral Singing, Drama and Street plays are organised to provide opportunities for students to express their ideas, talent and creativity. The school tries to retain the cultural heritage through the wall magazines that ornate the corridors illuminating every nook and corner by its significance in the life of the students.
Community Service and Social Work
Community service and social awareness programmes involve students’ participation in linkage with the community. Participation in Literacy campaigns, sensitise the students to the life of the community around them. Students prepare plays on social issues, to raise social consciousness and help to maintain such similar discipline in school premises. They also carry out various duties on a rota basis in the school and keep a record of their work, and are evaluated on that basis.
Languages
English, being the main medium of education, other languages including Hindi, Sanskrit and French are also stressed upon simultaneously.
